Why all the buzz about shea butter? Shea butter is a green-yellowish fat obtained from the nut of the shea tree (butyrospermum parkii), which grows in Africa. It has been used by African healers over thousands of years as a luxury emollient, benefitting dry, damaged and toughened skin.
